Our son-in-law, Landon, lost his sister this week to cancer.
Terry and I flew up to Utah for the funeral.
It was beautiful and so was she.
Griff and Walker got to sing at the funeral with their
other cousins… they sang
"I Know He Lives"
This is the song we sang almost every single day in
our mission so that the Latino missionaries
could testify of their Savior in English.
Griff and Walker also were pallbearers for their
Aunt Jenny's casket along with their Dad
and uncles and cousins.
Walker and Griff are in the white shirts
We love the Watts Family.
Sweet Jenny will be greatly missed!
Jenny Noel Watts
Obituary
Our beautiful Jenny Noel Watts, born on Christmas Day, 1976, left her earthly family on August 4, 2014 in Orem, Utah after a valiant fight with cancer. Jenny's last moments were spent surrounded by those she loved: her parents, David and Paula Watts, her siblings: Kesli Aiken (Ryan), Bradley (Chanel), Landon (Molly), and Aubrey Jones (Brady). She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Jenny will forever be remembered as the greatest aunt to her eight nephews: Daxon, Shane, Ryli, Ryne, Griffin, Walker, Grayson, Monroe, and her niece Bridget. In their eyes, no family event seemed worth attending if Aunt Jenny was not going to be there. She supported them in everything they did and her home was always open to them.
She was a loyal, dependable, caring friend, and in return, when she needed them most they came to her aid. Many heartfelt acts of kindness were showered upon Jenny by her remarkable friends and also her caring neighbors. There are many others who cared for Jenny to whom we would like to express our deepest thanks.
Jenny graduated from Orem High School in 1995 where she was a cheerleader for 3 years. She also graduated from UVSC. She worked for Zions Bank in various roles for the next 17 years, most recently as the Region Operations Manager for the Central Utah Region. She loved her career. The people with whom she worked were influenced by her example of integrity and dedication.
Jenny was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was this faith that carried her through life's experiences with a positive attitude and a focus on what was important. She was an accomplished pianist and an avid scrapbooker.
