This is sweet Elder Mario Castro
Ten years ago his mother filed papers for the chance to migrate
to the United States.
It was a long shot, but she has a lot of family in the US
and was really
hoping to be with them.
Finally after ten years, she received the call.
They have been accepted to go to the states.
It's like winning the lottery.
It's hard to do.
The papers were prepared for her and her two sons.
The problem...
One of her sons is in Peru on a mission with us.
We notified the Missionary Department
The missionary department got right on this.
Here is the solution:
He will go home and serve in his home country of Guatemala
for a month while they get all the papers in order.
He will be with the missionaries there.
Then he and his family will head to California.
He will then get a new mission call in the States.
And finish his mission there.
Every mission will want him.
He is Special.
He has been a great leader here in this mission.
Wow, we will miss him like crazy.
But we know the Lord has a great plan for him.
We are anxious to hear where he will serve.
Best of Luck our dear Elder Castro.
We will Love you Forever and Ever!
He did say that President Turk will always be his Mission President.
So Sweet....
