Line Upon Line...

We were at a baptism today for four women.
Each of these ladies has either
a son, a daughter, a nephew, or a cousin
that are already members of the church.
They have watched these family members grow
and flourish with the Gospel.

It is incredible that each of these women have taken their

time to be baptized.

They have each read from the Book of Mormon.

They have studied it out in their minds.

They each received their own spiritual witness

that what Elder Facer and Elder Saldivia have taught them is the truth.

And now they are sure that they have found the true 

Church of Jesus Christ.

But this is just the beginning.

Finding the Church is exciting.

But living the principles of the Gospel

is when all the blessings come and promises are fulfilled.

Baptism opens the Gate back to the Father.

Now they must each move forward

learning line upon line

and doing all they can to make sure they will 

return to our Heavenly Father.

These Baptisms were beautiful

and so was this little girl sitting in front of me.

Her name is Vivian.

Our Relationships with each other
and our Relationship with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ
are what really matter in this life.

We can't get caught up in the things of the world.
We have to keep our focus.
Because
Earth life is so short.
