Penny turned ONE yesterday...
And boy did we celebrate.
We headed to Coney Park at the Mall
to ride the train and the other rides.
She loved every minute... and so did her brother Tillman.
and so did her party guests... ha ha
Wasn't this nice of our office Elders to give up part of their
preparation day to come to the big Party?
This sweet little girl is amazing. She is so loving and pleasant.
We are thrilled that we were able to spend this time
getting to know her.
She does take her driving seriously though.
And then after dinner it was back to the mission home
for cake and oreo cheesecake and key lime pie.
She received some special treatment because she traveled so far
to come and see us.
This was her very own cake that she got to dig into.
It is never a dull moment with these party guests.
I will tell you again and again,
You haven't lived until you have grandchildren.
They make me giddy!
It was also my mom's birthday on the same day as Penny.
We wished that she could have come for the festivities in Peru
but she was having her own celebrations at the cabin
with Molly and Landon and our other grandchildren.
It worked out Perfectly.
We love you Mom.
You are the best ever!
