Grandpa Dean Turk, President Turk's father,
has built a beautiful Hot Rod Car from Scratch.
It's like the family "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" Car.
So all of my grandchildren went over to get pictures
in the car with their Great Grandparents.
Our son Parker is Dean's oldest grandchild
and his biggest fan.
When Granddpa Dean was young, his family moved around
a lot. He was in and out of different schools and never
with a teacher long enough to get a proper education.
When he was in the 8th grade he dropped out of school.
He started to work on cars. It became his passion.
He then got into racing cars and became a great
professional drag racing star.
At one of his big races his parachute didn't open and he couldn't stop in time
and he ran into the wall and broke his back and had a few other injuries.
He had to stop racing but this didn't stop his love for
building and backing race cars and boats etc...
The funny thing about his career in cars is that not one of his children
or grandchildren can fix a car or maintain one.
He always just did it for them.
He has been a perfect father and grandfather.
He loves his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren
and would do anything and everything for them.
We sure love you both... thanks for keeping track of our little treasures.
