Nephi is definitely one of my Heroes.
He was asked to do some very hard things in his life.
And do you know what he did...
He didn't question the Lord or complain.
He went to the top of a mountain
and Cried unto the Lord.
Have you ever cried unto the Lord?
It means that you are completely ready
to do the Lord's will and not your own.
You are prepared to hear the word of the Lord
and follow through with what He asks of you.
Nephi did this many times.
He cried unto his Father to know how to build a ship.
He cried to his Father on how to get the plates, where to find food, etc...
He was successful because of his Faith.
President Turk and I have been crying unto the Lord a lot lately.
We want to make sure that we are doing the right thing
for our missionaries and for the mission.
We want our missionaries to be like the Army of Helaman...
Obedient with exactness.
And then...
The Spirit of the Lord can Teach us and Show us
what to do and when to do it
Unrestrained.
This is our Prayer!
