We choose to be optimistic because
what is the alternative?
We have so much to be thankful for
and when we are with these gentlemen... Our Zone Leaders...
Life is Sweet!
And they are nothing but optimistic.
It is so contagious.
Today we heard from President Turk's new counselor, President Rojas.
President Rojas took the place of President Giraldez, who moved to Lima.
President Rojas has been a Mission President in the Lima Central Mission
several years ago and now we are blessed to have him serve here with us.
We had a beautiful morning of training
and then a relaxing lunch at the mission home...
It's always a great day when Lucy makes her apple crisp
and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
I love to watch the interactions of these missionaries....
After our Concilio it was off to several service projects...
President Turk was with these Elders at the Buenos Aires Chapel.
They were doing some deep cleaning.
I think that there were missionaries in about 6 other chapels too.
Our new Zone Leaders are Elder Mendoza, Elder Perez and Elder Richards.
They have been outstanding elders and now
we know that they will be fantastic leaders.
We love our Zone Leaders.
