Walker is jumping for joy...
We went to the bowling ally and game center for the fun day…
You can see that Griff lost his first tooth too.

We love the fun with the family…

Sweet Baby Noah….

Look at this beautiful little baby….
Baby Noah was only on this earth for five short, but precious weeks.

He was born to my niece Brittany and her husband John Arnett.
This was a very difficult loss… A complete surprise.
God only knows how deeply this family mourns...
And only God can give them the peace that they will be seeking.

This family has been sealed together in the Temple of our God.
We are so thankful for binding covenants and the sealing power of the Priesthood.

Joseph Smith taught the doctrine that the infant child that was laid away in death would come up in the resurrection as a child; and, pointing to the mother of a lifeless child, he said to her: “You will have the joy, the pleasure, and satisfaction of nurturing this child, after its resurrection, until it reaches the full stature of its spirit.”

We spent Monday night gathered as a family to light
hundreds of candles outside of the Arnett's home.

It was good for all of us… we all have been heart broken for this little family.
Baby Noah was such a Light in this dark world.

But I thank my Heavenly Father for the knowledge and peace that
only the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings.

We all sang together "Families Can be Together Forever"
Well, some sang and most of us cried...

I am so thankful for the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
He is a member of the Godhead.  He is a God.
He has all wisdom, all knowledge and all power.
He is our companion… We have nothing to fear, if we rely on
that spirit to guide, direct, comfort and teach us.
All we have to do is listen and then follow!

Oh, how thankful I am for Family...
That's what this life is all about and so is Eternity!

Joseph F. Smith said...
Our beloved friends who are now deprived of their little one, have great cause for joy and rejoicing, even in the midst of the deep sorrow that they feel at the loss of their little one for a time. They know he is all right; they have the assurance that their little one has passed away without sin. Such children are in the bosom of the Father. They will inherit their glory and their exaltation, and they will not be deprived of the blessings that belong to them; for, in the economy of heaven, and in the wisdom of the Father, who doeth all things well, those who pass away as little children are without any responsibility for their taking off, they, themselves, not having the intelligence and wisdom to take care of themselves and to understand the laws of life; and, in the wisdom and mercy and economy of God our Heavenly Father, all that could have been obtained and enjoyed by them if they had been permitted to live in the flesh will be provided for them hereafter. They will lose nothing by being taken away from us in this way. …
( Joseph F. Smith lost nine children)
We love you Arnetts!  Our prayers are constantly for you.

General Conference

President Turk had a special time at General Priesthood meeting with
some of his missionaries and our son Parker….
Elder Sam Andersen is still making our life wonderful by
keeping track of all the guys and making arrangements left and right.

Elder Sebastian Vera is one of our missionaries visiting from Chile.
He is here for about 10 days.
He was one of our assistants for several months.
We called him the quiet dynamo in the mission.
Every missionary loved and respected him
and would jump when he called.
He will be a great leader in Chile someday.
(Oops... he already is the Stake Executive Secretary)

This is Elder Dougie Brian… also one of our office Elders for months.
He kept us in line and organized.  He not only was our financial clerk at one time
but also our personal secretary.
He is really a great guy…
Ladies I think he is single...  I guess I should make sure before I advertise.

Last but not least our son Parker…
Parker surprised his wife and brought her up for the weekend
without the babies…  They are having a great time.
Thanks to grandma and grandpa Nye.

General Conference weekend is my favorite time of the year!

Mission Reunion… Pure Joy!

Nothing is as fun as being with our missionaries.
It was Glorious!

Those that couldn't make it, we missed you!

We have fallen in love with all the spouses and babies
that have been added.
We appreciate all of you that traveled so far and
changed plans to be with us.

Our next reunion will be in Trujillo sometime in the third quarter of next year…
EXCITING!   We love you all like crazy… Cuidense Mucho!

I already see several that were left out of the photos…
Elder Ryan Nelson and his wife, Daniel Johnson,  Brian King
and I am sure more…  Sorry!

My brother, Ross Junior

Wow…  thank you for your love and concern!
Yesterday we were bombarded with emails, calls and texts
asking us about my brother Ross Junior.

He had brain surgery yesterday to remove an egg
size tumor.  They removed it all and he will be starting
chemo and radiation

Please know that we appreciate all your prayers on behalf of Ross
and his family.  If you know Ross…  he will meet this challenge with
everything he has.
The greatest knowledge we have is that we know that...

God is in Charge!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
