Supporting Each Other!

I received this photo from Hermana Jackson.....
Look how fun.. all these returned missionaries together
to hear Hermana Eddings speak today in church.

You all look fantastic.  Thanks for supporting each other
and thanks for the photo.
This makes me Happy...

Bridget's Baby Blessing

Today baby Bridget was blessed by her father - Landon.
It was so sweet.
They blessed her at home
and we were able to be on skype
and be a part of it all.
Molly went to our house and found her baby blessing dress
and they blessed Bridget in it...

What a beautiful event..
What a beautiful Mother and Daughter.

Nothing better...

Thanks to all the family and friends that came and supported them.
We Love You Bridget.... so happy that you are in our family!

Mission Division...

Because the Huaraz Zone Missionaries were already
in Trujillo for Elder Bednar,
We had them stay an extra day for their interviews.
This saved us two days of travel.

When the missionaries come in from Huaraz they travel
through the night on the sleeper buses.

In July the area of Huaraz will be divided off from our mission
and added to the Lima West Mission.
The missionaries in Huaraz are all now wondering if they will be
the ones that are divided off from our mission.

Everyone of these missionaries in their interviews with the President
were willing to do whatever they were asked to do.

The President is praying about it and there will be two more
changes before it is final.

We are all just going to do the Lord's work no matter
where we are ...
That is the bottom line, Right?

We don't want one of these missionaries to go to another mission...
but whatever happens they will always be our missionaries.
And in July when Huaraz is divided off,
Our mission and the West mission will both have new
Mission Presidents.

Elder Montesino                     Elder Yaicate           Elder Salazar
Elder Rocha      Elder Lorenzo         Elder Quispe- Zone Leader

Elder Hill                             Elder Vera                    Elder Sarria
Elder Garcia                     Elder Chacon                  Elder Garcia

Hermana Romero            Hermana Carbone           Elder Felt - Zone Leader
Hermana Doxey                   Hermana Martinez             Elder Oruna

I am so grateful that we were able to have Huaraz a part of our Mission.
It is such a beautiful little spot on earth.
We love the people that live there so much.
We have a couple more trips there before we leave.
Thank you Huaraz Zone for your great works.
We Love You!

An Apostle of the Lord, Jesus Christ

Elder and Sister Bednar's plane made it through the fog!
Oh what a beautiful day....

Elder and Sister Waddell also came with them
and Elder Alarcon our Area Seventy.
We went straight from the airport to the Temple grounds
Toured the Temple...
and then off to meet with our missionaries.

This is the first time since we have been in the mission
that we have had all of our missionaries in
one place at the same time.

I cried the whole meeting just looking at them.

Elder and Sister Bednar taught our missionaries for 3 hours.
They actually had all of us involved and learning
and loving every word.
We were all enlightened and motivated to
be better,  to do more, to teach differently.

We were truly taught by an Apostle of the Lord, Jesus Christ....
One of the Twelve Apostles!

We then had a quick dinner
and we were back in a chapel that was jam packed with
young single adults.
Another 3 hour meeting with an Apostle.
He left beautiful Apostolic blessings in both sessions.

We will never forget this experience.
The feelings were deep and tender.

President's Solo...

Lucky Elder Escobar had to come to the office today for
some paper work and look...
he got a solo performance of Happy Birthday
from his President.
Oh Boy!

Happy Birthday Elder Escobar... We Love You!

We actually had Palermo Zone in today....
It's a small Zone but mighty in action.

The Zone Leaders are Elder Camarena and Elder Armstrong...
Look at the little guy they built...

with hidden compartments and everything...

Great trainings today!
Thank you.

Palermo Zone includes:
Zone Leaders:  Camarena and Armstrong
Hermanas:  Balcaza, Palacio, Connors, Cadillo
Elderes: España, Huayhuapuma, Pesantes, Pulache,
Ramirez and Romney

See you all Tomorrow with Elder Bednar.

There is a chance that Elder Bednar's plane won't
be able to land because of weather..
There has been heavy fog the past couple of weeks.

We pray that he can...
Good Luck to Us!

I'm Running Out of Titles....

I just begged the President to please write
this post tonight....

My mind is a blank.

This last round of interviews we are reviewing the importance
of planning and using our agendas correctly.

Zone Leaders, Assistants and the President
are talking about
writing down their inspiration, planning meaningful activities
for every hour of every day and having a list of effective
activities that need to happen in every sector of their areas.

We are talking about the sacred importance of keeping precise
records in their area books.  There is an eternal principle of accountability
that if we will keep records of what we do... we will receive more
revelation and power from the Lord.
This is what we want in the Peru Trujillo Mission.

Our missionaries are growing and learning and becoming
better every day.

Primavera Zone Includes...
Zone Leaders  Elder Cook and Elder Castillo

Hermanas: Butterfield, Bedoya, Bedoya, Maza and Diaz
Elders: King, Hoyos, Chacon, Espinal, Sanchez, Herrera

Nos Vemos Pronto Primavera....
Les Amamos!

Monday... Monday La la... la la la la

This is the week of Elder Bednar's visit.
We will be with him on Thursday.

But before he gets here we have a packed calendar...

Missionaries... Please prepare yourselves spiritually.
Read the articles that we have given you.
This is a great opportunity to learn from
one of the Apostles of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

"If today you are a little bit better than you were yesterday,
then that's enough.
And, if tomorrow you are a little bit better than you were today,
then that's enough.”
