The Mayor came to see President Turk this morning to talk about giving more LDS students scholarships to his University that he owns here in the City. He also owns the big professional soccer team here. Trujillo has about 800,000 people now.
(I guess he owns a lot of schools all over Peru, in Lima etc...)
He is very smart to recruit these Young Adults. There are 600 Institute Students downtown. They are wonderful. I am going to have my missionaries and the institute students do a huge service project sometime. We could get a lot accomplished.
