Yummy!

We went to lunch today and I made President Turk
take a few photos of the food at our table.

Here are some of the excellent dishes that Peru is known for:

This is my favorite... Lomo Saltado on a bed of ají risotto!
Strips of beef and peppers and onions in a great sauce.
The meat is so tender, it melts in your mouth.
The yellow peppers are called Aji Amarillo.
They literally color everything they are in yellow.
And they have a little kick to them.  They are delicious.

This is just fettucini and ham
with a well prepared lomo fino.

These are noodles prepared with a huancaina sauce
and a lomo fino.
The huancaina sauce is the same that is usually poured over
potatoes... and the dish is called...

La Papa a la Huancaina... very popular here.

Below is Lomo Saltado on Tacu Tacu
which is rice and beans.

And finally calamari in a aji sauce over lomo fino

We have never lacked for great food here in Perú.

Provecho!
