We had this family over a few months ago for
Family Home Evening
with Elder Kellogg and the Assistants.
We had a great lesson and answered many of their questions
about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Several Months later....
The father of the family asked President Turk to baptize him.
The baptism happened today.
His wife and daughter are being baptized next month.
There was a sweet spirit with us at the service.
I testify that this is the Gospel of Jesus Christ
restored to the earth.
The Gospel helps each of us to grow and become better.
If you watch LDS people that practice their religion...
You can see that they are always working on becoming
more like Jesus Christ...
and that their motives are pure.
"By their fruits ye shall know them"
It's difficult for some people to understand
because it is so foreign to them.
And of course we are all human... not perfect... but trying!
